Terms of Service
These terms govern your use of AeroPace, an AI-assisted coaching platform for endurance athletes. By creating an account or using the service you agree to them. If you don't agree, don't use the service.
Who we are
AeroPace is operated by ALFA CONSULTING SAS, a company incorporated in Colombia. In these terms, "AeroPace", "we" and "us" refer to ALFA CONSULTING SAS. Contact: coach@aeropace.co.
The service
AeroPace combines an AI assistant with optional human-coach oversight: the AI drafts training plans and answers routine questions; when you train with a coach, plan changes require the coach's approval before they reach you. The service is currently an invite-only beta — features may change, break, or be withdrawn while we build.
Your account
You must provide accurate information, keep your credentials confidential, and be legally able to enter into these terms (or have a parent or guardian's consent). You are responsible for activity under your account. We may suspend accounts that break these terms or put other users at risk.
Not medical advice
AeroPace provides training guidance, not medical advice. Endurance training carries inherent risk. Consult a physician before starting or changing a training program, stop if you experience warning signs (chest pain, dizziness, unusual fatigue), and use your own judgment — you know your body better than any model does.
AI-generated content
Plans, analyses, and chat answers are generated in part by AI models and can be wrong, incomplete, or ill-suited to your situation. Coach approval reduces this risk but does not eliminate it. AI output is provided for information; decisions about your training remain yours (and your coach's).
Strength and exercise features
AeroPace's strength and exercise features (exercise pages, guided sessions, AI-picked strength sessions in your plan and on your watch, and strength answers in the AI chat) give general fitness information for healthy adults. They are not medical, physical therapy or rehabilitation advice, diagnosis or treatment, and they do not replace a doctor, physical therapist or other health professional.
Much of this content is generated or chosen by AI and can be wrong, incomplete or unsuitable for you, even after a coach reviews it. Exercise images and cues are general illustrations, not instructions tailored to your body. Exercise carries a risk of injury: you choose whether and how to do each exercise, and you accept that risk to the extent the law allows (see Disclaimers and liability).
Exercise pages, guided sessions and the exercise lists of your strength sessions open only after you accept the strength and exercise terms on their own screen, and only for adults (18 or older). AI strength sessions that list exercises are planned only after you accept. We keep a record of each acceptance and withdrawal. You can withdraw in Profile at any time: these pages close again and your upcoming AI strength sessions that list exercises are removed.
If you work with an independent physical therapist or other professional, that professional, not AeroPace, is responsible for their advice.
Device connections
Garmin: AeroPace connects to Garmin Connect™ only through Garmin's own authorization flow (OAuth). You sign in on Garmin's own page and choose which data to share; AeroPace never asks for or receives your Garmin password. AeroPace can then receive the data you permitted until you disconnect in AeroPace or revoke access in your Garmin Connect account. By connecting after the workout-transfer notice and granting workout permission in Garmin, you authorize AeroPace to send your planned workouts to Garmin under the Garmin Connect privacy notice. Delivery starts on your first connection unless COROS delivery is already on; existing delivery preferences are preserved. You can pause delivery on the Garmin card. Do not grant workout permission if you are restricted from uploading to Garmin.
Other providers (such as COROS, Intervals.icu or WHOOP) are connected through the authorization method each provider offers. Your use of any connected device or service remains subject to its own terms. You can disconnect at any time.
Garmin and other third-party services
AeroPace is an independent service. It is not developed, sponsored, endorsed or approved by Garmin. Garmin® and Garmin Connect™ are trademarks of Garmin Ltd. or its subsidiaries.
Garmin data reaches AeroPace through Garmin's services, which Garmin provides "as is" and "as available". To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law: (a) Garmin, its affiliates, and their officers, directors, employees, agents, licensors and representatives make no warranty of any kind about Garmin's services or data as used in AeroPace, including that they will be accurate, complete, secure, uninterrupted or error-free; (b) they are not liable to you for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, consequential or other damages, including lost data or lost profits, arising from your use of AeroPace or of Garmin data in AeroPace, under any legal theory, even if advised of the possibility of such damages; (c) if any such liability cannot be excluded, their total aggregate liability is limited to US$1.00; and (d) you release them from all claims arising from or related to your use of AeroPace with Garmin services. Garmin is an intended third-party beneficiary of this section and may enforce it. Where the law does not allow an exclusion or limitation, it applies to the maximum extent the law allows.
Your data and content
You own your data. You grant us the license needed to operate the service — storing, processing (including AI processing via Anthropic), and displaying your data to you and your coach. See the Privacy Policy for details on collection, retention, export, and deletion.
Acceptable use
Don't misuse the service: no unauthorized access, scraping, reselling, probing our or our providers' infrastructure (including Garmin's), uploading unlawful content, using the service fraudulently, or using the platform to harm others.
Reporting abuse: if you see fraudulent, harmful, or otherwise abusive use of AeroPace, email coach@aeropace.co with the subject "Abuse report". We review reports and other activity that may break the law or these terms, and we may promptly restrict or suspend the accounts involved, including their device connections.
Requests from authorities
We respond to requests from law enforcement or other government authorities for user data only under the procedure described in our Privacy Policy: we verify that each request is valid and legally binding, disclose only the minimum required, challenge overbroad or unlawful requests, and notify affected users unless the law prohibits it.
Fees
The beta is free. We expect to introduce paid tiers; if we do, pricing will be shown before you are charged anything, and continued use of paid features will require an active subscription.
Termination
You can stop using AeroPace and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts for breach of these terms, and may discontinue the beta with reasonable notice.
Disclaimers and liability
The service is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind to the maximum extent permitted by law. To the same extent, our aggregate liability for claims arising out of the service is limited to the amounts you paid us in the twelve months before the claim (or, while the service is free, to zero beyond what applicable law does not allow us to exclude). Nothing here limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited.
